Just a quick entry

December 21, 2007

Just came from the last day of our BLS training.

The Basic Life Support Training under ADCPN, Board of Nursing in cooperation with Lyceum University of the Philippines, Elite Tactical Dynamics Inc, Ultimate Fighting System, e and (ahh.. err, uhm, I forgot) I attended this week in our school was a huge success! I really learned a lot. I feel so cool right now.

As of this time, I have nothing to blog about. I’m tired. I’m also running short of time. Heheh. I’ll post evidences soon. Swear! :-)

I’m hoping that the ball gets to the hole

Mapapagulong kayo sa tuwa! - believe me… =))

BUT! Here’s the real meat of this rant:

I have a problem about my Delivery Room and Operating Room cases. When I’m reminded of this, I really feel uneasy.

Mantakin mo ba namang kapag nagduduty ako, it’s either walang manganganak o ooperahan. Kung meron man, kagroupmate ko lang ang makakabenifit. In short, cases do have small place in my life. This had been the usual scenario that occurs of my daily related learning experience in special areas (e.g. DR and OR). Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays.

It seems incredible but it’s happening. To some it’s not the end but I remained a restless soul. Seeking for an absolution of this recognized injustice.

The semester is coming to a close. Apat na buwan na lang. When will I feel the completion I am longing?

4 more handle, 3 assist, 2 cord dress, 1 minor and 3 major OR cases is in my queue, so it’s now officially my problem.

Pray for me…

Oops!  I received another blog award. Thanks Kuya Mark!

A blessing in Disguise

December 11, 2007

You wanna know what happened to the milestone event took place at NDKC gymnasium last Sunday? Especially the search for Mr. and Ms. PNSA? It wasn’t good. I didn’t win. Ha ha! Just kidding…

It was a neck and neck competition between my contenders (I guess). I must admit that all contestants are indeed good. At that moment, I’m simply better. *Grin

I grabbed 1st runner up. I also received one of the 3 minor awards which is the Best in Casual Attire. I thought it was not possible.

I stand firm in my belief that God was with my side when the competition started.

Despite of being a runner up, my relationships with others became stronger because of the fun and excitement that I encountered by just doing the challenge.

Final results:

To vie for Mr. PNSA Ncot

December 7, 2007

Yes, I’m the male representative of our school for the search for Mr. and Ms. PNSA 2007 this Sunday at NDKC gym (Datu Ingkal St., Kidapawan City). I dunno why. Ha ha!

Actually, I’m a proxy of Why not!

The full support and words of encouragements from my classmates and colleagues challenge me to indulge in the said quest.

Wish me luck!

*Wink

Wi-Fi Zones at Colegio de Kidapawan

December 3, 2007

What a good news!. A new discovery I doubted few weeks ago. I thought kasi sa Davao lang. There are several WiFi hotspots within 100 meter radius of our school [CdK]. It started six months ago, I supposed.

Anyone with WiFi capable device, can access the internet in almost any place in the campus. According to Cyril, there is [perhaps] a router in the internet lab that detects signal that will connect to your WiFi abled computer or laptop.

Rate is for free.!

CdK WiFi zones (as far as I know): - DM-1, Front Building - CdK Canteen
- Nursing Fundamental Laboratory
- Anatomy Laboratory
- Chemistry and Physics Laboratory
- Administration Building
- Audio-Visual Room
- Library 1 and 2
- Criminology Lab
- Others (waiting to be discovered)
