May 10, 2009

To the one who risked her life for us. The one who had mixed emotions for 9 months. The one who woke up at dawn to lull us to sleep. The one who cried and smiled with our first smile, step, words and laugh. The one who’d willing lay down her life for us., unquestionably. The one who’s love is comparable, HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY!

Jesus saves. For He love us so much. He died in the cross to rescue us from slavery of sin and death. He is a just judge that’s why He don’t want to punish us. The only thing we will do is to believe in Him and give worth for all His sacrifices for us. Though we are sinner yet He care for us. That’s why He saves us.

Have a blessed Holy Week!

McDonald’s hefty fifty bucks fish fillet

December 7, 2008

After more than 30 minutes, our orders arrived. Instead of a value meal worth 50 pesos, I was given a fillet burger worth 105 bucks. I wanted to complain but upon close inspection of the receipt, it was indeed the burger.

The last day of my NLE review classes

October 25, 2008

It was like a commencement. The end of our nursing review with our in house review center signifies a new beginning.

After 4 months of intensive review by the best reviewers in the country, we had our closing program this morning.

The academic direcor of our in house review center headed the program. The day started with the last minute preparations for the upcoming November 29 ad 30 Nurses Licensure Exam. Each of us were given a kit that we could use during the exam.

The clossing program started oficially with the singing of One Moment of Time. It was very a timely song because indeed the board exam is a very crucial and important event for all of us. Then we students of Coegio sang Farewell to you my Friend as goodbye song. Many become emotional as we sung it. The students from DPOCI were not to be outdone. Selected students dance their way and let their hair loose. Then they sang their pinning song entitled At the Beginning.

One of my batchmates led the singing of Lead me Lord. How apt that we should  sing that song. I was way of asking our Lord to guide us over, the tme has come for us to do our part.

We must and should continue to review on or own during this last remaining month.

I bet for Batang Yagit

September 19, 2008

I highly nominate Batang Yagit for the Bloggers’ Choice Award of this year’s Philippine Blog Awards.

He’s the living proof of an exceptional blogger.

And most evidently– he’s blog is no doubt one of the most visited blog..

He is no longer a body occupying a space but voice, whisper, laughter, imagination. I can hear him now and I will continue to listen everytime he wants to speak.
